The Boston Symphony Transcription Trust (BSTT) was formed in 1957 for the purpose of circulating transcriptions of live Boston Symphony concerts to radio stations throughout America and the world. The BSTT tape archive covers the years 1957 through 1991. Each broadcast season was assigned an "A" series number. For example, the first series, A58, contained the season of 1957/8. Here are listings of the contents of each tape recording. Please note that the dates listed are not necessarily exact. Dates were often arbitrarily assigned to each tape, as each tape might contain edited portions of several performances of the same program.
